Passionate about film, the environment and social change?
Silver Frame Film Festival invites young creatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia to apply for the third edition of the Silver Frame Film Residency – Green Focus.
Over five intensive days, five selected participants will work closely with mentors to develop and produce five original short films inspired by local stories, ecology and community.

Previous editions included mentors such as Tamara Denić, Student Academy Award–winning director and screenwriter, alongside other regional film professionals.
Films created during the first edition of the residency continued their festival journey internationally: “Revenge” by Ali Mulabegović was screened at the BNP Paribas Green Film Festival in Kraków, Poland.
All five films produced during the 2025 Silver Frame Film Residency were presented within the Silver Frame Residency section of the Teen Arena programme at Sarajevo Film Festival, where “Thrown Away” by Zafar Berkovac was part of the Teen Arena Competition Programme and received the Third Award.
Equipment
Participants are expected to bring their own camera or mobile phone for filming, as well as a laptop for editing.
The residency is organized by Admon Film in partnership with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, International Forum of Solidarity – Emmaus and Cultural Center Srebrenica.
