This film was our choice for Best International Short Film because of its beautifully crafted animation and its compassionate portrayal of psychiatric disorders. We especially appreciated the way it offers a hopeful perspective on mental health while exploring the relationship between family members living under the same roof, yet experiencing different realities, before ultimately finding a way back to one another.

The short film Dry Clothes delivers a message that is brief, immediate, and powerful in its simplicity, conveyed through a restrained yet deeply sensitive cinematic language. In a world where the right to migrate is denied to the vast majority of people, this film reminds us that cinema can inspire empathy and encourage us to remain human.
