Each movie has its very discussion. Its question. Its moment of hesitation.

This residency is based on such a discussion – it is passionate and collaborative.

The Silver Frame Film Festival unveils the mentors of the 3rd edition of its Film Residency, taking place in Srebrenica and Bratunac from 15 to 19 July 2026.

There will be 5 participants chosen carefully who will work with their mentors who come from the fields of film, journalism, and visual narrative in order to complete their projects.

The mentors for the 2026 edition of the Film Residency are:

Almir Berkovac – film director and artistic coordinator
Dragan Stanimirović – journalist and documentary author
Corina Schwingruber Ilić – film director
Isidora Ratković – film director
Boris Gavrilović – film director

Meet the Mentors – Green Film Residency 2026

Almir Berkovac – Film Director & Artistic Coordinator
A filmmaker with over 25 years of experience across documentary, fiction, and commercial work. He leads the residency process and supports each project from concept to completion.
Corina Schwingruber Ilić – Film Director
An internationally acclaimed filmmaker whose work has screened at major festivals including Venice, Sundance, and Toronto. Her short film All Inclusive (2018) won the Golden Dove at DOK Leipzig and the Swiss Film Award. She is a member of the European Film Academy and a Berlinale Talents alumna.
Dragan Stanimirović – Journalist & Documentary Author
An award-winning journalist and documentary author who has worked for Al Jazeera Balkans, OBN, Federal Television, and SBS Australia, and reported for CNN World Report and Radio Free Europe. His work focuses on human rights, environmental issues, and investigative storytelling.
Isidora Ratković – Film Director
A film director from Sarajevo whose work explores intimate, character-driven stories. Her graduation film Good Luck, Sara! (2024) won Best Bosnian Student Film at the Sarajevo Film Festival and received multiple regional and international awards. She also collaborates with the Sarajevo Film Festival as a member of its youth programmes.
Boris Gavrilović – Film Director
A Belgrade-born filmmaker based in Germany. His short film BALKAN, BABY premiered at Clermont-Ferrand and won the Audience Award and the Jury Prize at Interfilm Berlin 2023. He is currently studying directing at HFF Munich.

The films that will be produced at the residency will make their first public presentation at the Silver Frame Film Festival.

The residency is organized by Admon Film, in partnership with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, the International Forum of Solidarity – Emmaus, and the Cultural Center Srebrenica.
