Meet the Participants of the Silver Frame Green Film Residency 2026
The Silver Frame Film Festival is delighted to announce the participants selected for the third edition of the Silver Frame Green Film Residency, which will take place from 15–19 July 2026 in Srebrenica and Bratunac.
This year’s residency brings together five young filmmakers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Slovenia, who will spend five days developing and creating short films focused on environmental awareness, community, and contemporary life.
Selected participants:
- Emina Gabeljić (Banovići, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- Ilhan Zerem (Jablanica, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- Umma Jazvin (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- Ilma Kalač (Rožaje, Montenegro)
- Rebeka Bratož Gornik (Semič, Slovenia)
During the residency, participants will work closely with experienced mentors, explore stories and locations in Srebrenica and Bratunac, and create original short films that will premiere during the 3rd Silver Frame Film Festival.
We are excited to welcome this new generation of filmmakers and look forward to the stories they will bring to life this summer.
At the same time, we would like to thank everyone who applied for this year’s residency. We received inspiring applications from across the region, and we are grateful for the trust, enthusiasm, and creativity shared with us.
A special thank you goes to Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Bosnia and Herzegovina for supporting the Silver Frame Green Film Residency and helping us create opportunities for young filmmakers from the region.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to Srebrenica and Bratunac this July.
